Position Overview: As the Lead Full Stack Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our technology initiatives, guiding the development of our full stack applications from concept to deployment. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and ensure
that our software solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with business goals. Your expertise in both frontend and backend technologies will be crucial in delivering high-quality products.
Job Description
- ● Lead the design, development, and deployment of full stack applications using Next.js,
Firebase, and Node.js with Express.
● Architect and maintain databases using PostgreSQL, ensuring optimal performance,
security, and scalability.
● Oversee the implementation of RESTful APIs and integrations with third-party services,
including AI technologies like OpenAI.
● Guide the integration of AI-driven features, focusing on prompt engineering and natural
language processing.
● Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to ensure seamless user experiences and
interface functionality.
● Write and enforce coding standards, ensuring clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
● Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior and mid-level
engineers.
● Troubleshoot complex issues, optimize performance, and ensure the stability and
security of the applications.
● Stay current with industry trends, evaluate new technologies, and drive continuous
improvement in our development processes.
● Lead agile development practices, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and
retrospectives.
Qualification
-
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
● 4+ years of experience in full stack development with a focus on both frontend and
backend technologies.
● Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Next.js, and backend frameworks such as
Express.
● Extensive experience with Firebase and PostgreSQL, including data modeling,
performance tuning, and security best practices.
● Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
● Proven experience integrating AI technologies, such as OpenAI, Gemini and others into
applications.
● Deep understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best
practices.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex
systems.● Strong leadership and communication skills, with a track record of mentoring and guiding
engineering teams.
● Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development
methodologies.
Nice to Have:
● Experience with Docker and containerization.
● Knowledge of GraphQL or other API query languages.
● Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
● Experience in prompt engineering and natural language processing (NLP) technologies.
● Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
● Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal projects.
